Alright, I think I may just have some exciting news for all you Windows 7 users having problems printing Target coupons! Michelle, a reader, emailed with this info:
"I just found out a fix for the problem people have been having printing coupons out through windows 7! I thought I would pass it along since I saw some of your readers commented about having this issue as well. You have to change your browser's compatibility settings. Left click on the browser icon and go to "Troubleshooting compatibility" then change the compatibility to Windows XP. Then the coupons will print! I did this with FireFox and it worked like a charm!"
I don't have Windows 7, so I cannot test this out to see if it works. Let us know in the comment section if you're in fact able to print Target coupons now! I really hope it works!!!

For IE8, there is a button for compatibility view, next to the refresh button. Click on that button to turn on the compatibility view.
I have compatibility view and it still doesn't work with Windows 7 and IE8.
Apparently this does not work for everyone. I know several people who cannot print with Windows 7 and this solution still does not work for them. I am hoping that some who can't print right now can benefit from this but just so the readers know it won't work for everyone.
This works for me, temporarily. I have to do it *every* time I want to print Qs from Target.
Well...we have the new W7 x three and its still sitting in the box---as I am afraid to install it and lose my coupon capacity for three computers! Hoping to hear improvements soon so we can install!
It didnt work for me with IE 8 but it did work with FF
did not work for me
You can also try it on a different setting, mine is on Vista, as that was the last thing I was using.
I tried it and it did not work for me : ( I wish they never changed the generator, on a postive note they did include blurb at the bottm of the page that they are almost complete with finishing the tool for Windows 7.
Thanks for trying! It still didn't work for me. I can now view the coupons but it still will not allow me to print- so FRUSTRATING since I am a big Target shopper. Please keep passing on tips, as one of them may just work- I can hope anyways :-)
It will let me view, but will not let me print, oh well! :-)
I have Windows 7, and I changed the compatibility to XP Service Pack 3....... Then I installed the E-Incentives Coupon Activator..... Now it all works like gravy. Thank you so much for publishing this fix to get it to work! I went back and printed 82374234 coupons I couldn't print before :)))
After giving up on trying to get problems solved though coupon softeware distributors (i.e., e-centives, SmartSource), I contacted Hewlett-Packard (HP) to try and get a fix. [HP is the maker of my computer & printers.] They said that the coupon software is just not compatible with some printers. (We tried several possible fixes, to no avail.) Last week, I finally got an old(er) printer to work -- and it prints e-centive & SmartSource coupons without any trouble.
So, it may be your PRINTER, not your browsers, that is not compatible with the software.
(Before switching to this older printer, I started writing to manufacturers, whose coupons I could not print through their selected distributors, and explained the problems. I asked that they apply pressure to the distributors to make their software compatible with all (or more) printers. (I said) I am missing good coupons & they are missing sales. WRITE to the manufacturers.)
Any ideas for a mac user? I can't print in Firefox, Camino, or Safari.
This is soooo exciting! Thank u thank u thank u!
worked for me!!!
THANKS!
Everyone needs to go onto this website and vote for Colin to win...www.babycheapskate.com. It is only until tomorrow morning so hurry and get your votes in. She deserves it!!!
THANKS Collin and Michelle!!!! This worked for Firefox for me but not IE. I so greatly appreciate your help!

I have Windows XP and it won't let me print. I download their printer it says my coupons are printing but they aren't. Please help it's driving me crazy! lol
I can't get them to print any more either, I have vista, and have tried in both ff and ie. Anyone have any suggestions?
My comp says that I can not change due to the fact that it runs on windows
thank you colin.
head over to www.couponingtodisney.com for a list of the printables.
I also have vista and I have no idea what to do!!! I really want to get these coupons...anyone know what I need to do to get them to print?? Did I mention that I'm not the best with computers!
Here's how I got it to work with Firefox 3.5.5 on Windows 7:
1) Install User Agent Switcher add-on for firefox. After it installs, you will have to restart firefox.
2) Under "Tools->Default User Agent->Edit User Agents" click "New->New User Agent". Then enter Firefox XP as the Description, and change "Windows NT 6.1" to "Windows NT 5.1" in the user agent box. Click Ok, and then Ok again.
3) Go back to "Tools->Default User Agent->Firefox XP". This will trick websites into thinking you are using windows XP.
4) Visit target's coupon site.
5) Install the coupon activator. Download it, install it, restart firefox. Go back and repeat steps 3 and 4. It should work now.
You will have to do step 3 every time you restart firefox, unless you edit the "Default User Agent" string in the same manner as step 2 (change 6.1 to 5.1). Good luck!
Kim: I am on a Mac right now and my coupon printing works excellent! If you're on Snow Leopard, you might need to set Safari to open in 32 bit mode. Go to Macintosh HD, Applications, find Safari. Click once on it (do not open it), and click File, Get Info. Tick the check box that says "Open in 32-bit mode". Hopefully this will help!
Everyone else who is still having trouble: You must have Firefox for this tip to work. In my Windows 7, you can't turn on compatibility mode like said in this post. The Compatibility View button also will not work. You must have Firefox! Download Firefox and then try the tip. Hope this helps!
Thanks SO much for this!! I have Windows XP, but when I went to IE 8 I started having some coupon problems. I copied & pasted how to fix from the IE8 Help menu:
"Why don't some websites display correctly in Internet Explorer 8?
Websites that were designed for earlier versions of Internet Explorer might not display correctly in the current version. However, you can often improve how a website will look in Internet Explorer by using a new feature called Compatibility View.
When you turn on Compatibility View, the webpage you're viewing—as well as any other webpages within the website's domain—will be displayed as if you were using an earlier version of Internet Explorer.
To turn on Internet Explorer Compatibility View
Open Internet Explorer.
Click the Tools button, and then click Compatibility View.
If Internet Explorer recognizes a webpage that is not compatible, you will see the Compatibility View button on the Address bar. To turn Compatibility View on or off, click the Compatiblity View button .
From now on, whenever you visit this website, it will be displayed in Compatibility View. However, if the website receives updates to display correctly in the current version of Internet Explorer, Compatibility View will automatically turn off.
Notes: Not all website display problems are caused by browser incompatibility. Interrupted Internet connections, heavy traffic, or website bugs can also affect how a webpage is displayed."
I'm glad to hear that some of the readers are able to fix their Target printing issues, but unfortunately I still can't. I have Windows XP and I'm sure it's a secutity feature set on my computer or something of the sort. Any other suggestions are welcome!
Thanks so much! I have windows 7 and I did what the original post explained and now I'm printing the coupons!!!! THANKS!

Says system is down for upgrading!!! Maybe this is the upgrade we've all been waiting for!!!
you'll want to start print in IE anyway, fire fox has java/image/etc compatibility issues and some coupons won't print with them, so if you ever have problems, just switch to IE
Targets coupons are mainly for IE, thats why there are so many problems with Fire fox
Target coupons are printing just fine for me with FireFox
I have Windows 7 and IE8 and this doesn't work.
As of today, it appears that Windows 7 finally works with ecentives!! I was able to finally print a bunch of Target coupons that wouldn't even load before!
