Sears: Spend $50 on Men's Pants and Get a $50 Cash Reward!

Sears is offering up a pretty sweet promotion: purchase $50 worth of men's pants or jeans by June 21, 2009, and you'll receive $50 in Sears Reward Cash! You will need to send in your rebate form with the receipt by 6/30/09. The Reward Cash can ONLY be used on men's apparel through October, so it's like you're getting 50% off of your purchases!

This is a great deal... especially if you're in need of some new men's pants or jeans. This would make a fantastic Father's Day gift too!

(Thanks, MoneySavingMom!)

Can you use the promo code sears5off50 to get the $5 off and still do the rebate? The form says that the $50 has to be after discounts, coupons and promotional offers.

The rebate details say this "Limit 1 per household. Not valid with any other discounts (including associate discount). Reward Cash valid only on men’s apparel and excludes Lands’ End Merchandise."
I'm thinking that the rebate won't work if you use coupon/discount codes. I'm not going to risk it - it's already a good deal and my DH really needs new pants anyway. Thanks for the deal!

I am looking at pants, and then I pick them and add them to the cart and the price goes up! Does this happen to anyone else?

The rebate says that you can use a coupon but you'd have to spend $55 or more to still get the rebate as the total at the end of the transaction is what counts.

Also this isn't a cash rebate but a Sears rebate. You have to spend the $50 before 10/30/09.

Be forewarned... I placed an order on Sears.com after hearing about the rebate deal. I ended up getting a shipment notification for only one pair of jeans. Turns out they cancelled the second pair due to them being out of stock due to high demand. They never gave me the opportunity to cancel the order entirely or add another pair... so I ended up spending $42 dollars for one pair of jeans! I will be refusing the order when it arrives which was their only suggestion when I contacted them. I certainly hope they refund my shipping too.
