Man...I missed a fight :(

It was too funny all about if target carried 2 or 4 packs of the batteries and if we should use the coupon there I came back for the store to read more and it was gone. I was hoping for more laughs but it was gone

What does that mean "Frustration free packaging"

MommySpendsLess said...

Anon 1:24,

This is from Amazon's website:

"Products in Frustration-Free Packaging are exactly the same--we've just streamlined the packaging. A Frustration-Free Package comes without excess packaging materials such as hard plastic clamshell casings, plastic bindings, and wire ties. It's designed to be opened without the use of a box cutter or knife and will protect your product just as well as traditional packaging during shipping."

That sounds like a big perk to me! :)

Hip2Save, please start following the new FTC law and inform us if you make money off these posts or not. Thank you.

I missed the battery thing but I must say I recently used my Rayovac coupons on the batteries that Target sells in their $1 section. And what a WASTE of my $$. I dont' know if it was just a bad batch of batteries or what, but they would not work in anything that hubby and I put them in. I should have taken them back to Target and got my $$ back but I did not.

I am pretty sure this is $20 at Target.

Dear Anon 2:17,

This is a blog that Colin does for FUN...she spends a great deal of time posting these amazing deals for the rest of us....so what if she is making a little money on the side (even though I don't think she is)

Why do you care if she makes money on her site?

hopevierze said...

who wrote about making money off these posts? WHO CARES! she is helping us SO MUCH get great deals! does it matter? that was in bad taste in my opinion

ANON 2:17-HAHA. who cares if she makes money off of these post? Really? I bet she only gets paid from google ads and if we click a banner or something. It makes me want to click on the banners a bunch now....

Anonymous said...

I think it is funny that someone asked if you are making money.
I know that some of the things that you post are sent to you from people that read your site...I know you posted one I sent.
:-)

I saw this today for $19.99 at Target. This is the regular price.

Great Blog Colin! You continue to amaze me!

Please ignore the anonymous person who was asking about if you make money or not. I have not heard about any such law.

We all enjoy all the hard work and effort you put in! I for one really appreciate you!

I bought this for my niece for Christmas at KMart for 14.99...so check there first to see if there are still any in stock!

Aww, I missed the battery thing. That reminds me to go get more batteries at Staples. =)

My oldest 2 girls each have one of these computers and they LOVE them! I don't have them out to play with all the time, so they are extra special for road trips or if Mommy needs to have a looong phone conversation or something. =)

I HOPE you at least make SOME money off this site. The banners make you something at least, right? You spend precious time away from your family to blog these deals - your time is definitely worth some dollas! =P I'm off to click on some banners. ;)

Anon 2:17, why don't you assume that she makes a TON of money from all of these posts and then MOVE ON.

I for one hope she does make a ton...she deserves it.

But I also agree with one other poster, she often just posts things that her readers email her.

At least her website is doing well. As opposed to my husbands little website venture that costs us at least 3K to this point and is useless.

Anyway, I digress.

Great job collin and I hope you are RICH from us. We are sure RICH from you!!

OK here is the FTC ruling that the IDIOT is referring to (really peple need to know what they are talking about before they post)Federal Trade Commission 16 CFR Part 255 States that when using Endorsements or testimonials to sell a product that person giving the testimonial; or Endorsement must state if they are making money from the company selling the product. Colin Sells NOTHING she can make a fortune and it is REALLY none of our business. I hope she does I make a fortune off her deals and THAT is my endorsemnet for which I am not being paid. I don't have a google account so I havew to be anonymous but my name is Cathy and I am proud to support Colin.

I don't know about calling somebody an idiot... really now? But I would have to question whether or not she is "selling" something. She is presenting a product to her readers "selling us" on the good deal item and giving us a specific link that has an affiliate code attached to it, that in turn she will profit off of. I don't know the intentions of the person who posted that she should follow the law, because she is getting us great deals and it sounds like she is happy to do so and we all appreciate her for it :)
