Thanks to one of my readers, Katie, for emailing me detailed instructions on how to snag these coupons!Follow these instructions below exactly, let me repeat that, EXACTLY or you won't have access to the $10 coupon:
- Go here and click on Join Now in the upper right hand corner
- Enter your personal details-Make sure to type CATALINA in the promo code box
- Where it says "Are you ready to set up your Customized Meal & Exercise Plan?" be sure to choose "Yes, I'll Set It Up Now"
- Click "Create Account"
- Enter details on this page and click on "Calculate Body Mass"
- Make sure to select "lose Weight" for the option and click "NEXT"
- Fill in the required details and click on 'FINISH"
- Click on "Return to your personalized home page."
- You should now see the $10 Glucerna coupon link.
- Click on the image and you can choose to print the coupon or have it emailed to you.
- Remember to press your browser back button to print a total of two coupons.
I'm planning to use these coupons at Walgreens. They have a fantastic Register Reward promotion running on select Glucerna products through March 31st:
Buy 2, get $2.50
Buy 3, get $4.50
Buy 4, get $7
Deal Scenario:
Purchase 4 boxes of Glucerna Cereal, $4.99 each
Total $19.96

Pay $0 (make sure to add in a small filler item)

Update: One of my readers just pointed at that the coupon does state one per transaction, not purchase... so you may have to do two seperate transactions. If so, the deal would look like this:
Buy 2 boxes for a total of $9.98
Use the $10 coupon
Pay tax
Get back a $2.50 Register Reward
Then just do that again and you'll still end up making a nice $5 profit!

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I didn't realize the coupon stated one per transaction. I will update the post with a new deal scenario. What you'll have to do is buy 2 packages and then buy 2 more in a separate transaction.
Oh and the inexpensive filler item is just because of the .01 in overage you'll have for each box purchased. If your cashier doesn't care, then you can just have that go towards tax.

i just got back from Walgreens..I did it with two because the coupon siad 1 per transaction. The coupon would not even scan (not even a beep). Finally a mgr came over and we had a whole conversation about it.. He finally gave it to me saying that he would not get it back since it didn't scan.. I paid .48 for 1 pack M&M's, 5 boxes of South Beach living bad Cin raisin (they were $1.99 on Clearance and I have old $2 that I printed awhile ago that didn't exspire until June...) and two boxes of cereal and got the $2.50 rewards...If it would have scanned, the four boxes would have worked.. Nice profit with lots to show for it! Thanks for the tip!

The stupid printer is not working, so I can't print the coupons. I think vista doesn't like the printer program.
I just used the $10 Glucerna coupon. It beeped, so cashier and manager read each and every word of the coupon and since they found nothing wrong as I purchased two boxes of the cereal as per the coupons requirement they just manually took off $10. Also got the 2.50 RR

Sorry guys, I'm guessing the $10coupons are beeping due to the .02 in overage on the 2 boxes of cereal. If you don't have a coupon friendly store, then I would reccommend buying 3 boxes for a total of $14.97 and using one $10 coupon. I can almost guarantee if you do that the coupon will not beep. You'll pay $4.95 out of pocket, but you'll still get back a $4.50 Register Reward for purchasing 3... so you will have pretty much snagged 3 FREE boxes of cereal!
My first coupon did not beep, but when she went to scan the second coupon it beeped so I had to do 2 transactions. Then it still beeped but the manager came and put it through. Got the $5RR and also 2 coupons for $2 off more Glucerna products... :) YAY!

If you don't want to use them at Walgreens I have used these before at Walmart with no problem. I always get overage too. I buy the shakes that are $6ish so I get quite a bit overage. The only thing is the coupon says valid amount when they scan it and then cashier pushes enter. My Walmart never auto adjusts the price.
I just bought three boxes of cereal for 4.99 each and 1 box of the shakes for 5.99 all in one transaction. I gave both $10 off coupons and nothing beeped and it printed the $7 register rewards. $6 moneymaker - yeah!! THANKS FOR YOUR AMAZING WEB-SITE!!
I also noticed as I was checking out that the $10 coupon said $10 off two boxes of cereal or 1 multi-pack of shakes. The pack of shakes are only $5.99 so you might be able to come up with a better deal than I did - I didn't have time to get out of line and change my plan - two kids in tow :-)
I tried using 2 coupons on 4 boxes of cereal. The first one went through fine, but the second one beeped. That is when I noticed it said one per transaction. I will have to use that one later. All in all I will still get 4 boxes free cereal and $5 RR!
I went and they only let me use one coupon. When the second coupon beeped at her she said I couldn't use it because it said one per household. :( So I only got 2 boxes and she made me add a filler item...she wouldn't just let the 2 cents go to taxes...and it didn't print any RR's. Free cereal is great, anyone know why it didn't print the RR? That would have been even better. What can I do about it?

You should have gotten a $2.50RR for buying two. I would call Catalina (1-888-8coupon) with your receipt in hand. They should be able to send you one in the mail.

I just got back from walgreens - I had 2 coupons and 4 boxes of cereal and was ready to do 2 transactions. The coupon would not work for 2 boxes because it was short $.02 - (manager came over) - SO I just threw a 3rd box on there. They were $4.99 each. So I paid $4.99 for 3 - BUT it printed out a $3 off Glucerna coupon product coupon AND $4.50 in RR! So I went back, got 3 more and used the $10 off and $3 off, paid $2 and got another $4.50 RR! So I paid $6.99 out of pocket for 6 boxes of cereal but got $9 back in RR! whoopie!

Is the glucerna cereal located with other cereals? I looked for it at my wags but wasn't able to find it. Maybe my store just doesn't carry it. :-(
The Glucerna cereal is located by the bottles/cans of Glucerna along with the Ensure and Boost--atleast, at my Wags that is the case.
Like Anonymous said, the Glucerna cereals and bars are located with all those products. I find them by the Pharmacy at my local Walgreens.

I just tried this at my local walgreens in CA and it didn't work. :( I called the catalina number and hopefully tomorrow they will send me a catalina??? Our cereal is priced at $5.49, I want to live where you all are!!! And our cereal was located in the pharmacy also, not with the other cereal.

Yes, the RRs will print for the bars and shakes too. I've already confirmed this myself.
I used one of the $10 coupons on two boxes of cereal, received $2.50 RR. Did second transaction and bought two jumbo packs of Walgreens diapers (priced 2 for $9), used my pharmacy booklet coupon ($2 off each pack) and my RR. Paid about $2.90 for two packs of diapers and two boxes of cereal. May go back and do it again! I really like the Walgreens diapers!
Yeah! It worked! For some reason, i can never get Glucerna coupons to print - it always says I have printd it already when I haven't. I finally get to try it! :)
Printing more than the allowed coupons is coupon FRAUD! A lady in my area is being prosecuted by Target for coupon fraud because she printed or copied more than the allowable amount of Huggies coupons. The Glucerna coupons are one per household and by hitting your back button in order to print more coupons is coupon fraud. The coupons for the Walgreen's diapers are 1 per item and it is off the regular price.
So the next time you knowingly print and try to use more coupons then what is allowed I hope you will remember that is FRAUD!

I went to Wags a while ago to get them, and was able to get 4 boxes for free plus $7 RR. I had no beeping, and all you have to do to makethem not beep isplace them in the very center ofyour order, then there will be so much before and after it that the coupon will scan with no problem.
I had two $5 cpns and 1 $10 cpn. The 2 $5's went through okay, the $10 beeped but the cashier had a supervisor manually enter it.
I'm somewhat new to all this wonderful savings and the question I have is how do you find out about these Catalina deals? Are they advertised somewhere? I know sometimes they're listed in the ads but it seems like there are ones that I don't know about except for if I catch it on the blog. Thanks!

A lot of times these are unadvertised deals and the only way you can really find out about them is by learning from others, seeing signs up in your store or having the promotion details print out after a purchase.
