My Exlusive Spa: 5 FREE Samples!

UPDATE: Deal is DEAD!
Wow! My exclusive Spa is offering up 5 FREE samples to new members! Just go on over here and add 5 samples to your cart, then use the coupon code mem5 when checking out. Your final cost will be FREE-- with FREE shipping! Yay!

Please note: I'm not sure if there is a glitch in their system or what. When I placed my order I ended up having a negative balance, which seemed strange.

(Thanks, Free Sample Freak!)

It looked like that new member code provided you a $10 credit and the samples are already a reduced price so five samples, plus shipping and handling didn't even bring it up to $10 and gave us a negative balance which means we didn't even have to pay anything for shipping! Pretty sweet!

me too! hope their is no glitch in this one..live in illinois

Strange...I was able to add about 13 samples and my total was STILL -$9???

Dara said...

This is what I received upon check out: The coupon you attempted to use is a one-time-use coupon, and you have already used it on a previous order, therefore we cannot accept this coupon again.

Hope u guys were lucky!

nicole said...

Thanks! I don't think there is a glitch- I sure hope not!

Anonymous said...

I don't think it's working anymore for the free shipping. I think they changed the coupon from $10 down to $6, so then with the shipping tacked on, you end up having to pay $2.

I got free shipping and managed to score 38, YES 38 free samples plus no shipping! YEAH!

Unknown said...

I got mine with free shipping and the -1.80 balance!

Melissa said...

they are now charging shipping. But I added 5 samples and still was negative 1.80 with the coupon. So, I didnt have to pay anything.

i just scored a makeup brush and 18 or so samples. Thanks for the code. It took off $30.00!!

I just ordered 35 samples, at checkout it didn't ask for any payment info since I had negative balance. This is too good to be true. We will get email cancelling.

Stephanie said...

I got 21 samples. It gave me a $20 credit. Final was -.10. Hope it works.

I ordered 7 samples (each at .65) and then I had a $4.50 credit ..wonder if they're doing that so that you have money on your acct to order from them? I'm excited by this! Thanks for the info! I need some cleansing products!!
Thanks again H2S!! You rock!

Jacqueline said...

Woot woot! 21 samples for nothing!

Susan and Lee said...

I am getting charged shipping and I only put in 5 samples

Anonymous said...

You get $2 credit for each different sample minus the price of the sample. Some are $1, others are .65. Order 10 at .65 , you end up with -$13.50. Then you can order anything under that price. Remeber to leave $4.95 for shipping to keep your order free :)

I ordered 20 samples (all showed as $0.65) and got a $40 credit. i then purchased the Bare Escentuals Get Started Kit priced at $39 (everywhere else the price is $60). I hope this will work, but I'm afraid it will get cancelled like the Korres deal.

Anonymous said...

This is crazy. No matter so many companies are going bankrupt. Don't they test their systems before they let them loose? Oh, well, in the meantime, we will enjoy the free samples.

Anonymous said...

I figured it out. You can only add one of each item in the cart. If you add more than one of a type of item, it won't take the $2 off for that item.

Anonymous said...

everytime I try to add to my cart...it says there are no items in my cart. Frustrating!

Anonymous said...

i was able to purchase more than one of each sample. i got a $28 credit! wow! thanks.

Anonymous said...

I think Anony above me is Correct "You get $2 credit for each different sample minus the price of the sample. Some are $1, others are .65. Order 10 at .65 , you end up with -$13.50. Then you can order anything under that price. Remeber to leave $4.95 for shipping to keep your order free :)"

I ordered EVERY sample, ended up with an $86 credit and then got mens shaving gels and lotions totaling $40 for FREE!!!

Make sure to select EVERY sample, it will give you free money to shop for real stuff in the store.

Debby said...

i got about 15 samples PLUS their full sized tanning lotion (~$7) and still had a$3 negative balance even after the $4.95 shipping. The more samples you add, the more credit you get. But adding 2 of the same sample takes away some credit. Strange, but good for me!!

Mander said...

I tried doing this and after I added 5 samples, it only gave me a $5.00 credit and was charging me shipping. I am glad it worked for others.

jordanandlace said...

I think they fixed it. I had my total to -114.00 and was messing with it. Now the most it will give me off is $5.

Samantha said...

Samples now seem to cost $1; and when you add in the code it simply takes $5 off your total.

Anonymous said...

they just fixed it!!!! i added 20 samples and i still have a 50 credit so i was being greedy and needed more items and now i only have a 5 credit. oh well, i didnt need anything

Anonymous said...

How the heck are you guys doing this? I only am getting charged actual prices here! I added all samples, but it still charged full amount plus shipping? Please save some for others and don't be greedy!

Pam (meanestmother) said...

All samples are now $1 and all they are taking off is the $5.00 new member discount. I missed out again.

Anonymous said...

To the people ordering many samples this is why these deals get pulled. Have you ever heard of staying under the radar? I mean, really, it would be nice to get 35 samples for free but do you really think for a minute it's fair to the next guy who simply wants to get a few? My guess is these are the same people who try to buy 30 or 50 or whatever of one item and then get upset when limits are enforced. You may not realize it, but you are ruining future promotions for yourself and everyone else by taking advantage of the situation.

kansascouponcutter said...

Anon,
I feel the same way. When I first started couponing I felt I had to get a zillion of everything and was very greedy. Now I have seen changes and realized that I may have contributed to this. I am glad that I read this blog because, in a small way, it keeps me acting ethically. Anyway, sorry for the downer for those who did not get any. I did order the 5 free or whatever.

SuzyQpon said...

This is so odd. It looks like everyone is getting a different deal. I got a $5 credit. The shipping was going to be $0.45 for 5 samples so I just got 4 so I didn't have to pay for anything. Thanks!

Katie said...

The credit is now only for $5, but if you only choose four samples, and select "sample shipping," the cost for S&H is only $0.45, so the total will be $4.45, leaving you with a -$0.55 balance. Woo!

Anonymous said...

I wonder if this deal works for only certian zip codes? I tried the deal and I got 5 samples and had to pay .45 cents.

Hannah said...

just ordered 5 samples and had to pay .45 for shipping!

Holly said...

This is how someone explained glitches to me once and I haven't thought of them the same since: "If you stopped at someone's house and noticed that they accidentally left their front door unlocked, would you think that they intended for you to walk in and take their things?" So, while it feels good to get free things, I always think about my friend who explained that unlocked front door to me. And of course, if you did take things from that person they would never leave that door unlocked again and would probably get a guard dog to keep people away.

Isra said...

deal is dead, says coupon is not valid, i will be very surprised if they honor all the orders!

Anonymous said...

Deal is dead
mem5 code is invalid

Unknown said...

Deal works, you just have to have 5 samples in your cart.

Choose sample shipping (45¢).

Total is only 45¢!

Anonymous said...

I just did it, deal is not dead! lol. Just had to pick 5 samples at
$1 each. Use the code and then you still have to pay .45 for shipping. eh, I figure .45 isn't bad because I pay that just to send a letter in the mail.

Anonymous said...

It's still work!
Shipping is $0.45 not free..

Anonymous said...

I just did this and only got 5 samples...my balance was 0.00 and then it charged me .45 cents for shipping...not bad...I'm in CA, so maybe that's why?? Anyway, glad so many of you got so much stuff....it's fun to get stuff for free:)

Jo said...

I agree with the open door analogy. I love to get free stuff too but we really need to use it as it was intended. These companies are nice enough to put out these promotions and we shouldn't take advantage of them. I've probaby been guilty of taking advantage too. Extreme couponing seems to sit on the edge of taking advantage. I guess what i'm trying to say is that I'm now trying to review my actions and how they might affect others. I think this company only meant to give us 5 free samples and I think we should respect that. Sorry if I'm a downer but we don't want these same business going out of business either. That affects us all. Okay, i'm stepping down from my soap box! Lol

Tammy said...

Sorry TOTALLY off subject, but does anyone know of a Macys online code? Wanted to order something but before I did, wanted to ask!

Thanks so much,
Tammy

sorry Tammy not anon

Anonymous said...

jo, if you or any of the other one's that had gotten more samples you would not be saying anything and you know it.

Anonymous said...

how do you know that the one's that got samples aren't going to buy products from them? you don't!

Ida said...

hm ,it only took 5 of mine and it did not include shipping charges.

Anonymous said...

I agree! I got my 5 free samples very early this am, while the glitch was still in full effect. Sure, I could have added 100 samples plus used the overage to purchase full-sized items like others, but that is not what the company intended. In fact, right on the page it said 'get FIVE samples with the member code'... not UNLIMITED samples! Use your BEST judgment!

Anonymous said...

"jo, if you or any of the other one's that had gotten more samples you would not be saying anything and you know it."

I had to read the above statement about seventeen times to understand the content due to all of the grammatical errors. If you want to express yourself least write in English.

Thanks!

Anonymous said...

at least

Anonymous said...

I got my 5 samples when I could have gotten the overage but I know that is wrong. Sometimes you just have to do what you feel is right. At the end of the day you always have to live with yourself. I am not perfect by any means. But I do not take the last deal even though I could. I always wonder about Karma and if it will bite me one day. :)
The Golden Rule

Anonymous said...

You are silly to think you will get your full size items and tons of samples for free. You know you ruined it for yourselves. We who ordered only 5 will probably get ours. Like it was supposed to be.
LOL!

Anonymous said...

They're now charging 0.45 for shipping on sample orders only.

Nancy said...

I tired all sort of things but could not get the code to give my anything but a $5 credit and shipping left for me to pay.

Sandra said...

Code worked for me, don't copy and paste it, you have to type it in.

I also had to pay $.45 for shipping.

Really didn't want to, but when you think about it: $5 of product for $.45 is very FRUGAL! LOL

Thanks!

Theresa said...

I think those of you who took advantage of the situation have now ruined it for others. They are now charging for shipping and not giving a huge credit. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be greedy!

aussie said...

the sad part is that those that ruined it for everyone else probably don't care or even read these comments! But Karma will take care of it and as Alice & Grete learned the Boomerang Principle "What ever you chant what ever you brew...sooner or later it will come back to you." Children books have such great morals and lessons..check out the book "Alice and Greta"

They are samples. The company intends to give them away.

I am quite sure that you will receive something, perhaps only five, even if you ordered 50.

And I don't understand why people feel the need to criticize others. Make your own choices and let others do the same.

Anonymous said...

I ordered several of these samples and feel that since I already order these and PAY for the full size, WHY NOT order samples and try things that I haven't purchased yet. No need to criticize other people. This is not a place to bash other people!!

Anonymous said...

Yea my order was free too until i had to choose shipping method and then they wanted to charge me .99 for shipping even with the promo code
